Envisioning Developmental Biology for the Future

Developmental Biology is a unique discipline with a huge impact on very diverse research fields such as stem cell research, medicine, nutrition, climate change, biophysics and environmental interactions. It has further been transformed by the integration of novel single cell and imaging technologies.  
Our workshop brings together 50 of the world’s leading experts from different research fields together to build a think tank that leads to a deeper interlinking of research fields and finding a common ground for future projects. We will discuss priorities in development biology in an expanding world of questions and urgent problems as well as streamline pedagogy to the current and future skillsets of the workforce in the public and private sectors.
